UR406 - Bees and Environnement

Sous-titre UR406 - Bees and Environnement

Honeybee populations and the diversity of wild bees are declining significantly. This has dramatic potential impacts on biodiversity and crop production.
The Unit therefore proposes to combine the skills of its research themes, bee toxicology, bee biology and pathology, epidemiology, bee ecology and pollination, around this issue .

Objectives of the Bees and Environment Unit:

It conducts multidisciplinary research at the physiological, behavioral, ecological, pathological and toxicological levels on an experimental scale that extends from cell to landscape. The work is developed both at the basic level and on the basis of a societal demand to respond to agro-environmental and socio-economic problems. The real challenge is to understand the biology of species in an overall environmental context And a complex for which it is necessary to obtain fundamental knowledge on a supra-individual scale.
